Delete your account
In the app
- Open the menu and go to Profile. If you signed up with an email address and have not confirmed it yet, you never reach the Profile — use Delete account on the verification screen instead. Either way the rest is the same.
- Press Delete account, then Delete everything.
- Confirm it is you: type your password, or sign in again with Google or Apple, whichever you used. This is the only way we can be sure the request came from you.
The deletion happens at once and cannot be undone. If you signed in with Apple, Apple is also asked to revoke this app's authorisation; where that is not possible the app may still be listed under Settings → your name → Sign in with Apple, and you can remove it there.
By email
If you can no longer open the app, write to contact@dnatechbase.com from the email address on your account and ask for it to be deleted. We act within 30 days and confirm by reply.
What is deleted
- Your account and sign-in (email and password, Google or Apple link).
- Your library: books, shelves, reading progress, ratings, notes and shelf arrangements.
- Your photos: covers, spines, backs and framed pictures.
- Your profile: display name, style choices and Atlas starting place.
What is kept
Nothing that identifies you. Residual copies in backups are removed within 30 days. If you only want part of your data removed, for instance the photos or the Atlas place, you can do that in the app without deleting the account, or ask us by email.
